A few ways to keep track of your home renovation costs
Mary from Oshkosh, Wisconsin is building a vacation home in Florida. She’s looking for a free app she can use to keep track of all payments for the project.
I told her that I use Excel and Google Sheets. In the cells, I link the invoices to the payments. This way, I can easily see everything I need in one easy spreadsheet.
I also recommend checking out Gantt charts. These charts can help you quickly compare budgets so you get a bird’s eye view of your finances.
Lastly, I told Mary that she might be able to find a template she likes on Etsy. I found one specifically for home remodeling.
