How to update an old rotary phone so you can use it today
Greg from Fayetteville, Georgia refurbished a 1935 rotary phone from his dad’s home. He upgraded it to work on his home line, then fired AT&T and ended his digital internet connection. He asked me if there are any services he can use to get the phone up-to-date.
I told him to check out the Pulse to Tone Converter. For some background, old phones used the pulse method, which is now obsolete. Tone dialing is widely used now. This gadget will convert the pulse dialing from his cool old rotary phone to DTMF tones compatible with modern VOIP equipment.
