When I originally joined Kim’s Club I received her podcasts on my MacBook. Before upgrading to Catalina on my MacBook I had to transfer Kim’s podcasts to my phone in iTunes to listen on phone. Now with the Catalina upgrade I cannot download the podcasts on either my MacBook or iPhone. I would rather just download the podcasts to my phone and listen on that. Help!

    Hello Bruce,

For downloading the show podcast you can visit https://community.komando.com/listen to download the podcasts directly to your phone if you are looking for the Komando On Demand podcast or Komando Tech News or the CTU you can find those from your podcast application on your phone.

Please let me know if you have any issues downloading the podcasts.

    Thanks,

Listen to The Kim Komando Show

    Jake,
No, that does not work on my computer. Why can’t I download podcasts using itunes or the apple podcast app?

I can listen to the podcasts if I am logged into the komando community and actually stay on the page where the podcasts are. As soon as I leave the page the podcast stops. Really? This is clunky to say the least. With Itunes I can start the podcast and go do something else on my computer while the podcast plays. I would also like to listen to Kim’s podcasts on my iphone 11 while I am working out at the gym. I can’t do that anymore. We are dying from improvement.

Update: I can download Kim’s podcasts to my macbook. They will then play in the Music app on the macbook. I still cannot download podcasts to my iphone.

    Update:
I am now listening to a podcast downloaded to my macbook and then automatically downloaded to a folder on my iphone when I synced the phone with the macbook with a cable. It would be easier to just use the podcast app on my phone directly.

    Hi Bruce,

Feed URL referenced in this post: “https://podcast.komando.com/show/kim-komando-show.xml” / For the login, use your old Kim’s Club details, or as @amber mentioned in another post, email support@komando.com and ask for an alternate login.

For your iPhone, try this: Tap the “My Podcasts” button on the bottom row of icons. Then hit the + button in the top left corner, and select “Add Podcast” from the pop up. Then you paste in the feed URL and hit subscribe.

On your Mac, I’m not sure exactly how to do it in Catalina, but you’re going to want to add the same custom RSS feed and login.

Let me know if that helps 🙂

@arlo1946 The Apple Podcast app does not support authenticated feeds. Use Overcast, which is available for free in the App Store. More info can be found in my response here:
