Welcome! We cover a lot of Mac/Apple stuff no worries.
I assume that you have tried the Mac’s built-in voice dictation? If not here are the steps.
Turn on keyboard dictation
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Keyboard, then click Dictation.
Click On. If a prompt appears, click Enable Dictation.
In an app on your Mac, place the insertion point where you want the dictated text to appear.
Press the Microphone key if available in the row of function keys, use the dictation keyboard shortcut, or choose Edit > Start Dictation.
For best results, speak for no more than 40 seconds at a time.
Or it could be your mic.
Can you tell me what kind of mic you are using? Maybe that’s the issue?
