The usage is just a standard personal modem/router (DOCSYS 3.1) hardwired to single Mac laptop,
with a total length of less-than 14-feet . I don’t believe that that is Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) .
And, by-the-way, whatever happened to the “CAT-5E-Plus” standard ?
