  You most likely need to reinstall your drivers & software for that icon to repopulate. What is the make and model number of your printer?

  Hello Norma,
  
  You will want to visit this site here, it will detect your operating system and allow you to download the “Drivers and Utilities Combo Package” once downloaded go ahead and run the program to install your printer’s Drivers & software, which in turn will restore your tool tray icon for the printer.
