What is the difference between these two Apps. Kim has recommended both of them, yet they do not work together. Which should I keep.

How are they not working together? The only issue I have come across is trying to use Express VPN with Total AV’s VPN at the same time.

Express VPN is connected. When I connect Total AV, it disconnects Express VPN.

Thanks John, I’m very old and new to this need for protection. I thought that they ran silently in the background and kept me out of trouble. How do you “use” them?

Hello Dawn,

Total AV is mainly an Antivirus / Anti Malware software that also happens to include a VPN for safe browsing.
Express VPN is only a VPN for safe browsing.

While using Total AV you do not want to enable the VPN while using Express VPN, one will turn the other off.

Thank you John. Wouldn’t I be better off with just Total AV? I should have antivirus protection and I don’t get that with Express VPN

I have never personally used Total AV’s VPN. If it suits your needs, then you only need the one.
