When I open my Windows 10 Recycle Bin icon it defaults to a program I recently installed. If I delete the recent install the recycle bin behaves normally. If I then reinstall the just deleted program, the recycle bin opens it as before. I am told there is a registry fix for this but I can’t seem to find it. I am aware of the following: https://articulate.com/support/article/how-to-turn-user-account-control-on-or-off-in-windows-10
This is NOT the solution. Can someone direct me to a correct solution?
It was GLARY UTILITIES. Turns out if you open the recycle bin without Glary Utilities and then minimize it but not close it, and then install Glary, it works as it is supposed to. Not sure why, but for me the problem is solved. Thanks for responding.
