I am frustrated with Google Drive in that I cannot see the sizes of the large folders on Google Drive. This makes it difficult to edit and manage.
I am hoping there is a more user-friendly and reasonable Backup Service available.
      Thank you for your help!

      Hello Steve Bolduc,

I understand the frustration, and I have the solution. You will want to install a program called Cyberduck tap or click here to download.

It is a cloud storage file explorer once you have it installed and connect your Google account by clicking open connection then click the dropdown menu to select Google Drive and then the connect button. From here you will enter your account details.

You will then want to right-click on the specific folder you would calculate the size of, then left-click on info, then click the calculate button to determine the amount of data stored in a Google drive folder. You will see this info populate in the Size column to the right of the folder name.

Alternatively, Idrive backup works great for calculating specific folder sizes on the fly from their web portal.

        Hello TeamKomando:John, Participant @264458
Thank you so much for your help.
I am finally able to see the sizes of the folders and files.
Do you know of or can you recommend any other cloud storage services that are
        better than Google Drive and
        are more userfriendly?
        Thank you,
        Steve B.

        Hello Steve,

You would find anything with better utility then Google Drive or say Microsoft one drive.

That aside for the best manageability of your data I recommend using iDrive cloud storage E2 which is really a repackaged version of some flavor of Amazon cloud storage. However, they do not change you to egress your data from their servers as an Amazon storage service would.
