    Hello

I have 2 young boys (10 and 13). They dont have personal cell phones or smart phones (the older one has a dumb phone that can text and call). We have quite a few devices connected at home, and I would like to be able to filter and monitor what they are watching and prevent them from seeing something they shouoldn’t. What is the best thing you found?
A bit of what we have: 1 smart TVs with streaming services, 1 dumb TV with a firestick connected, a MAC and chromebook, and PS3. They mainly watch YouTube (which can go from a “fishing show” to weird really quick), and some streaming like netflix or samsung TV. I have heard of Gryphon router which sounds pretty good but it completely blocks certain apps rather then filtering their content. Is there anything out there that can filter YouTube? the monitoring services like Bark or Covenant Eyes? I have cox internet and can set up time limits so I dont need anything separate for that.
Would love to hear what others are recommending. Thank you!

    Hello Olga,

Thanks for the information on Gryphon, I took a look and it is similar to Circle. However, Circle offers an application that can be installed on your kids’ phones so you can extend parental controls from not only your home network but even their mobile data network as well. This way you are always in control of what content your kids can see, as well as a few more neat features, Filter, Time Limits, Focus Time, Usage, Pause, Rewards, History, Bedtime, Location.
