I was following the instructions in today’s newsletter about turning off sharing in Google Maps & reviews, which led me to look at my seetings for my Google profile. I discovered that your email address is visible to everyone and there is no way to make it private – when I try to do so a box comes up that says “This setting can’t be changed for your account.” This is ludicrous, and ensures I will NEVER post a review. Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks in advance for any advice!
It’s the same for me, when it says “Anyone” it really means Anyone you communicate with. If you are posting a review you are communicating using your account, then and only then would your email address be public.
