Rick from Winchester, Virginia has a huge stack of notebooks and handwritten notes he wants to digitize. I told him to fire up the Google app or the standalone Google Lens app on Android. Point the camera at any text so it pops up in the viewfinder. There, highlight your scribbles like you would with any digital text and tap Copy to Computer.

If you’re logged into the same Google account on your computer, you’ll automatically have it ready to transfer to your clipboard. You can then paste it into Google Docs, Microsoft Word or even Facebook if you want to share what you wrote down.

Alternatively, you can use the Rocketbook Everlast Smart Notebook or the Smart Moleskine Evernote. Both of these smart notebooks are a huge help.
