I have a Komando car cam very nice a does a good job. good quality. I have a problem with the power cord, it will not stay connected, even when it is supported so there is no strain on the connection to the camera. Is there a tweak I can do to improve the connection. I have tried a different cable but still had the problem. Any suggestions?

    Hi Tom,

Thank you for reaching out. Over time microUSB ports in general tend to wear out a bit and the connection will become looser, especially with the movement and vibration those units experience in the vehicle. Typically swapping out the cable with one that has a firmer fit helps. We could try sending out a replacement cable from our inventory.

Other than that, perhaps try using something like this on the windshield to hold the power cable in place and prevent any pulling:

Thank you, good idea. I’ll try hooks and maybe a new cable.
