Microsoft patch for windows 8.1
I still have a 8.1 pc. Since mid May most of the Microsoft updates have failed.
I have been unable to correct this. It will take me to a help page however it
does not show any solutions. At least none that I understand.
Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear you are having issues with Microsoft windows 8.1, what you should do is make sure you have a good backup of your computer. Then you should tap or click here to see how to upgrade to windows 10 for free.
Upgrading will, in turn, Install a fresh copy of Windows 10 while keeping your apps and data

Quite a while ago I did attempt to upgrade to Windows 10. It did not work for me.
I was hoping to just get a way to update my 8.1 windows. I do get error codes however
When I check on the codes there is no answer.I am going to purchase a new PC but I would like to get this resolved first.

If Windows will not update or upgrade to Windows 10, I suspect you have a failing hard disk drive or SSD.
Be sure you have a backup of your data before starting. Tap or click here to see how to perform a Refresh of Windows 8.1 without losing your programs or data.
If that process fails, then you most likely have a bad disk.
Support for Windows 8.1 will end on January 10, 2023
