I was informed today that a company that is new in our rural neighborhood is going to put in a wifi tower and allow use by the homes in the neighborhood to use it. As of now most people use either satillite connections or wifi through cell phone companies. How does this affect us?

Hello Karen,

You really should not be affected by a tower going up unless it was blocking line of sight for the satellite users. I think you should reach out to the company and see about getting some better internet in your rural area. You most likely would have to purchase an antenna to mount on your home pointed at the new tower.
