Good Day!
A few months ago, I got semi-booted out of Facebook, in that I can sign in, but all I get is an error message that says they’re looking into my problem, but due to COVID, it’s taking longer than usual. Four months and counting longer. About the time this all went down, somebody got a hold of my email and tried changing my password to various accounts, including FB and Amazon. I suspect this person is the source of the problem. I’ve long ago sorted out all the other problems, but I can find no way to communicate with Facebook. Several other people have reported similar problems. Suggestions?
If I posted something naughty, I’d own up to it, but I simply don’t know what the source of the problem is.

Hello Ed,

By any chance have you tried the account recovery option here. If you can’t get any traction, I would set up a new Facebook account for the time being. If you click or tap here you may have better luck regaining access to your account using a friend or trusted family member’s account.

The last thing I can think of is to comb your email for all Facebook emails, possibly a missed email awaiting action resides in your inbox.
