I have a Dell laptop running Windows 10 Professional. After a recent update, I noticed that Edge has become the default browser, and it is flagging content as dangerous. I use my antivirus to protect my computer, and if I direct the link to another browser such as Chrome or Firefox, it opens with no problems, while actual dangerous links are filtered and blocked by the antivirus. Also, Edge is specifically blocking conservative content. I have tried to set Firefox as my default browser, but Edge is locked in that state. I have also tried to uninstall Edge, and have been unsuccessful. I can copy links in emails from trusted sites and open them manually in another browser, but I just want to be rid of Edge. How dare Microsoft to force people to use their censorware? If anyone can help me to rid my computer of that Microsoft malware, I would be grateful.

    Hi Lee:
Just ditch windows. Well you can leave it there if you want to. When installing Linux the installer will ask you if you want to leave windows alone. It will pushing windows to the side, create some partitions and you will have 2 OS’s in your system, its called dual-booting. There are tons of videos in YouTube how to install Linux operating system. I started using Linux out of college, got tired of paying for the high prices for the windows CDs I’ll never look back. Today we have Android smartphones all over the world ( Android is Linux).
