      Hi Guys!

I am wanting to buy a laptop for my parents for Christmas. They both have IPhones and Apple watches so I am trying to decide if it would be a better investment to buy them the lowest priced MacBook or spend that same $1000 on the best windows laptop I can find. They currently have a windows 7 laptop.

I have heard Kim recommend iPads for older parents(mine are in the early 70s) but my Dad has had other tablets in the past and always ended up using his laptop.

If the recommendations lean toward a windows laptop any advice on the best match for them would be greatly appreciated. They do little more then browse Facebook, watch YouTube and online banking.

      Hello David,

I would go with whatever your parents are most familiar with, eliminating that learning curve will benefit everyone. I will be linking some recommendations below. Keep an eye on Kim’s recommend deals around black Friday.

Apple MacBook Air (13-inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD

      Lenovo Flex 5 14″ 2-in-1 Laptop, 14.0
