I placed an order on a web site that was on YouTube with an ad that used PayPal. The order went through and the next day PayPal sent an email saying the order was shipped and the USPS tracking the shipper gave PayPal was included. I checked the tracking number with USPS tracking and it showed the package had been delivered earlier on the same day before I placed the order. Talk about fast service, the web site said it was located in Vermont but PayPal showed the shipper using a Chinese email address and the company name was written in Chinese. I signed into my PayPal account to say I’m sure I got scammed, but I could not find a phone number or a place to send a regular email to customer service. The resolution box I clicked on asked some questions about the order and what the problem was on a single line that disappeared so you could not see what you wrote and that someone will get in contact. The shipper got paid because he sent a fake tracking number almost immediately and PayPal will say the order was shipped and delivered because they don’t check the actual tracking number sent to them. We will see how they reply and make sure you google new web site names see what others say about them to be safe.
Just to let everybody know PayPal notified me that they are investigating my claim and of course are contacting the shipper to get their side of the story. If my information proves valid then in 10 days my money will be refunded. Will let you know August 3rd.
