  • How to find a lost Android — even if it’s offline

Jeff from Woodland, California is looking for a program he can use to track down his phone if it’s lost or stolen. He has a Samsung Galaxy Note 20, so I told him to download an app called Find My Mobile from the Galaxy Store.

This app is designed to help you locate lost phones and tablets, but it can do a lot more than just that. It can lock the screen, ring the phone and retrieve calls and messages. It can even erase all data and reset the device.

Thanks to a recent update, you can also use its offline finding function. Just enable the feature in Find My Mobile. Here’s my guide to this helpful app.

Jeff can also use Bluetooth trackers. For example, if he puts a Tile in his car and loses his phone, he can make the phone chirp by clicking the Tile. This only works if the phone has a charge, though.
