My iphone 6s says I have no messages in my mailbox but if I call my number from another phone and try to leave a message it states the mailbox is full.

Can anybody help or point me in the correct direction please?

      Hello Edward,

Are you using any 3rd party applications on your phone for voicemail? Try calling your own number from your cellphone and see if there are any saved messages you can delete.

I would then try leaving a test voicemail from another line to see if the visual voicemail is working on the iPhone. If not then you should perform a network reset of the iPhone by doing the following:

Reset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before

        Thank you John.

I was able to access my voicemails and delete most of them. They were all extremely old and I deleted them after listening to them. My only issue is 16 out of 40 remain and cannot be deleted.

My mailbox states there is no mail in my mailbox when I call it but 16 appear on the screen that I can listen to. When I try to manually delete them they just reappear. Like they are ghosts.

        Any idesa?

        Ed
