For many years my wife and I used an Excel spreadsheet for our Christmas mailing list and merged it into Word to print labels. We currently use locally installed Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
If we switch to the cloud only version, we can still mail merge for our holiday letter?
It looks like Mail Merge is only an option in Office desktop applications. The online versions of the apps are not as robust as the local versions.
Keep in mind that while Office 365 has cloud-based features, it still offers the ability to install the full programs locally. The only option that does not allow this is Office Online, which is a free service.
