S Mode
I want to buy a new computer and think I want a XPS 15. My question is…does it come in S Mode?
And if it does is that a good thing? -

Hello James,
Really any computer running Windows 10 you have the option to enable S Mode, If you provide a link to the laptop you are looking at I can better answer your question. S Mode is really only a good thing for cheaper laptops that are running with less than 8GB of Memory. S Mode is better for Kids, School. It does force you to exclusively use apps that are part of the Microsoft Store.
I would stay away from it, or if you are looking for a cheap laptop you might want to take a look at some Chromebook’s
