Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has a problem getting spam messages via their phone/provider text messages? I keep getting all kinds of spam messages, at least that’s where they would end up on my laptop, from a variety of phone numbers, for a variety of “items” and all addressed to a “Terry”. We have no Terry in our home, or family, and I have no idea how my cell number got into this mess.

I can find no apps or anything that will stop these. I just keep blocking the numbers and hitting Cancel instead of Show Read. But they are SO frigging irritating, and some are downright disgusting.

Any clues or suggestions?

Are the spam messages ending up on your cell phone’s text messages? You mention your laptop, are you referring to iMessages on your Mac laptop or email?

Please provide some more information like what kind of phone you are using IOS or Android, same for you laptop and which Cell phone provider you are using so we can supply you with some options.
