Windows 10 security vs total AV
Running Windows 10 on my HP computer (five years old?). I subscribed to TotalAV. Daily I get message to check virus and threat protection. When I look sometimes neither Microsoft or Total AV are running. It often says they are both turned off. Sometimes after I have set Total AV when I go in Microsoft is checked. I get these messages almost daily. Quite frustrating. Thank you.

Hello lainey_s,
I recommend completely uninstalling TOTAL AV and then making sure your Windows 10 is completely up to date, restart the computer and then download a fresh copy of Total AV from their website and install it again. I believe this will resolve your issue with neither AV running.
