  • zip file to file other than csv file?

Hi. I took Kims step by step process explained as to how to get my Amazon past order data. Amazon kindly obliged and sent me a zip file. I managed to open it on my I pad, amazingly enough, but was not able to open it on my MacBook . I did receive the retail.orderHistory.zip..
I clicked on that and was able to actually see the document in full.in rich text format.but before I could save it as some kind of file it reverted to a retail.orderHistory.csv file.

How can I get this csv file into a readable rich text form. it is plain text.. I want rich text.

    thank you

I will check some other of Kim’s tips. I think I remember that there is a website which changes formats for documents you upload.

Maybe I could go to that website, upload my fav file and make it into a pdf file..

    Will try

    Hello Alimagoo,

Your best bet is to import the .csv into a spread sheet program such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. This will make it easier to read and sort your history.

Import .csv into Excel & Import .csv into Google Sheets.

    Best of luck!

Many thanks team Komando. I Don’t use google and don’t have excel on my Mac. But think I can go to the net and convert my csv file from there.

    Many thanks
    You all ROCK!

No problem, you can drag the .csv to the Numbers for Mac program and it will interpret. If you do not have it installed you can find it here.
