Hello Billy,

We’ll get your sorted, what mail service provider are you using currently? Is this the only device connecting to this mail account?

First backup Outlook data- Tap or click here to see how.
Then backup Windows Mail data – Tap or click here to see how.

Now you need to remove Windows Mail from your workstation.

Open the Start menu in Windows.
Click Settings.
Click the Apps category.
Click Mail and Calendar.
Click Uninstall.

Now create a new outlook profile. (doing this will leave your old one intact)

In Outlook, select File > Account Settings > Manage Profiles
Choose Show Profiles > Add.
In the Profile Name box, type a name for the profile, and then choose OK.
From the new profile, you will add a new mail account.

Tap or click here to see how to switch between profiles.

Once you let me know who your Mail Host is I can provide you with the correct IMAP settings to ensure you do not miss any emails, if you are missing any then you will have to verify your junk and spam settings.

If you need to run any sanity checks to ensure Outlook is receiving email, do not install windows mail. Use the webmail client if your mail host provides one.
