I have tried off and on for months to set up a network between my computers and for some reason it is like getting lost in a corn maze.
I have several computers around the house and would love to be able to work between them, but I guess after I passed 80 I’m not having any luck.
I did it before with older versions of Windows.
I upgraded to Windwows 11 and after it destroyed my Windows Live 2012 files, I went back to 10.
Couldn’t get Office 2012 to run either under Windows 11.
Some days I wish I’d never heard of Microsoft.

      Hello Don,

What is your goal? Are you trying to set up file sharing between your workstations? Or are you trying to set up a remote desktop so you can remote into your computers?

Just share files between my workstations here at home.

      Hello Don,

First, you want to ensure you have Windows network discovery turned on, tap or click here to see how.

Then, from whichever computer you have a folder you want to share on your network, you will do what is outlined in this article here.

Let me know if you have any questions, happy file sharing!

Got the Network Discovery turned on but it is asking me for Network Credentials. Lost me on that one.
Don’t know how to access that. I assume it wants to know the network name and password.

      No luck so far. Frustrating!
